About Course
INDIAN WEAR + WESTERN WEAR + INDO-WESTERN WEAR
This course combines Course 1, 2, 3, and 4 along with additional garments Indian pattern making.
Upon completion of the course:
- you’ll be able to create patterns for any Indian Garment.
- You’ll also receive all notes & a soft copy of Winifred Aldrich’s book Metric Pattern Cutting for Women’s Wear. (life time access)
Learn Sizes: XXS to XXXL + Customized Sizes
The program consists of 24 sessions, designed to be completed within a duration of four months. Sessions will be held twice a week or thrice a week, depending on your availability.

- Develop advanced pattern making skills with size adaptability.
- Gain hands-on experience in drafting and customizing patterns for complex garments.
- Build a comprehensive understanding of pattern making techniques.

Introduction to Pattern Making

Draft the standard shalwar and explore belted vs. non-belted finishes.

Session 2: Patiala & Dhoti shalwar drafting.

Master the voluminous drape of the Patiala and the asymmetric folds of the Dhoti shalwar

Understand pleat placements and balance for comfort + fall.

Session 3: Farshi shalwar (wide leg traditional) + Harem pants

Draft the luxurious Farshi shalwar with extra flare.
